We will break the backs of Bangladeshi Miyans
CM Sarma said, “This time we will break the back of Bangladeshi Miyans, so that they do not dare to become a challenge for the Assamese people. Promised two lakh jobs
Addressing another rally in Bihpuria, Sarma promised two lakh government jobs for the youth in his next term after winning. The CM further said that 10 lakh youth will be provided assistance of Rs 2 lakh per person for enterprise. He said. While the outgoing BJP-led government was providing financial assistance to students under various schemes, if the next government is formed, it will make education free.
Sarma targeted Congress
At another rally in Ranganadi, Chief Minister Sarma targeted the opposition Congress and claimed that the Congress will never come back to power in Assam. He blamed the backwardness and underdevelopment in some parts of the state, especially the Congress MLAs in the outgoing Assembly.
