Bangalore: The Enforcement Directorate has confiscated the property of Mallur Congress MLA KY Nanjegowda in connection with the recruitment scam at the Kolar-Chikkaballapur District Cooperative Milk Producers Federation (KOMUL).
ED officials raided the residence of KY Nanjegowda, a residence and Komul office in connection with illegal money laundering. The Bangalore Enforcement Directorate has temporarily seized the stable and valuable property worth Rs 1.32 crore belonging to MLA KY Nanjegowda and others.
The director of the communal director, Nanjaygowda, is involved in the scam. About 75 candidates have been funded. It was heard that the Mangalore University staff had been accompanied. Every candidate was given a letter of recommendation from politicians. During the ED raid, the recommendation was seized by the letter. In January 2024, Nanjaygowda’s house was attacked in the wake of illegal money laundering.
