Costly court case; What is the loss of ‘Jana Nayagan’ team?

Tamil movie ‘Jana Nayagan’ (Jana Nayagan) is now in trouble. Whether it is for the fans or the team, it is not clear when the film will be released. The question of what’s next is bothering the team. Presently, the film has been submitted to the Censor Review Board. The film’s censor certificate is likely to be handed over to the team within two weeks. Meanwhile, the court case is said to be expensive for the team.

The movie ‘Jana Nayagan’ was supposed to release on January 9. That means the film was supposed to hit the public about five weeks ago. However, the team has not received the censor certificate so far. It is expensive to film. The team, which has been fighting in the court for so many days, has now withdrawn the case and submitted the movie to the review agency.

Amazon Prime Video has already bought the film ‘Jana Nayagan’ for Rs 120 crore. It is reported that the OTT company is only willing to pay Rs 60 crore as the movie is getting delayed. If the remaining calculations are included, the ‘Jana Nayagan’ team is in a position to bear the additional expenses of 150 crore rupees.

Even if the censor certificate of the movie is received in two weeks, the sudden release of the movie may not be possible. It is to be released globally. Thus, theaters have to be set up all over India including Tamil Nadu. After that, a plan has to be made to release the movie at the world level as well.

‘Jana Nayagan’ cannot be released at the end of February. Because ‘Toxic’ movie release date is already fixed. The film is releasing on March 19. It is impossible to release two movies of the same company in a gap of just two weeks. Thus, ‘Jana Nayagan’ can go further.
