A helicopter of Aryan Aviation Company crashed in Kedarnath on Sunday morning. Seven people died in this accident, who were riding in a helicopter. At the same time, after this incident, the Ministry of Civil Aviation has taken a big action against Aryan Aviation, a company operating the helicopter shuttle service. The government has suspended all the charter and shuttle helicopter operations in the area on 15 and 16 June 2025 as a security precaution. Apart from this, two helicopters in the area were found to be flying despite bad weather. The licenses of both its pilots have been canceled for six months.

All services of Aryan Aviation suspended

The Ministry of Civil Aviation said that its operation for the Char Dham Yatra has been suspended with immediate effect after Aryan Aviation’s helicopter was involved in a tragic accident today. The helicopter had five passengers, an infant and a crew member. The ministry further stated that two helicopters of M / s Transnabharat Aviation-VT-TBC (PIC: Captain Yogesh Grewal, CPL (H) -1453) and VT-TBF (PIC: Captain Jitendra Harjai, CPL (H) -11146 were found to be flying in the air under uniform weather conditions. Accordingly, the licenses of both pilots have been suspended for six months. At the same time, on 15 and 16 June 2025, all charter and shuttle helicopter operations have been suspended as security precautions.

All helicopter shuttle service banned

In fact, the helicopter crashed in Kedarnath flew from Guptkashi at 05:10 am and landed on the helipad at 05:18 pm. It left for Guptkashi again at 05:19 am and crashed near Gaurikund between 05:30 to 05:45 am. The aircraft had five passengers, an infant and a crew member. Earlier, the Uttarakhand government had announced the suspension of charter and shuttle helicopter operations in the area on 15 and 16 June as a security precaution.
