New revelations have come about Delhi blast terrorist Omar

What is the news?

New information has come to light regarding Dr. Umar, the terrorist who was involved in the car blast near the Red Fort in Delhi. Umar had gone to Kashmir a few days before the incident. There he gave his mobile phone to his brother. The police have recovered this thrown phone, from which some important clues have come into the hands of the agencies. Apart from this, Umar was continuously instigating the youth to become suicide bombers.

Umar had told his brother to throw the phone in water.

News agency PTI Told that Umar’s brother Zahoor Ilahi initially denied having any information during interrogation. However, during continued questioning, he told that Umar had given him a phone and told him to throw the phone in water if any news came about him. Ilahi himself told the police the place where the phone was thrown. After this, forensic experts extracted data from the phone.

More than 70 videos in the phone, 12 of Omar himself

Dainik Bhaskar Quoting National Investigation Agency (NIA) sources, it was said that more than 70 videos, including 12 videos of Omar, were found in the mobile phones of the arrested accused. These also included propaganda videos of ISIS and Al-Qaeda. These videos were sent to 11 people, including 7 youths of Kashmiri origin and all of them have some connection with Al-Falah University. The rest are residents of Uttar Pradesh, Kerala and Karnataka.

Omar was inspiring youth to become suicide bombers

Umar was planning to prepare many more suicide bombers like him. For this, he used to make videos and send them to instigate the youth. Investigation has also revealed that Umar had also sent such videos to a person named Aamir Rashid Ali, because he had refused to become the attacker. In a video, Omar is saying that suicide attack is one of the most honorable acts.

Omar had gone to his home before the attack

About two weeks before the attack, Omar had gone to his home in Pulwama. Here he gave one of his phones to his brother and told him to throw it away if any news came. This incident took place between 26th and 29th October. On November 9, when the agencies arrested some of Umar’s associates, his brother panicked and threw the phone in a pond. The agencies found the location of one of Umar’s phones in Delhi and the other in Pulwama.
