Did Nagarjuna reject ‘Dhurandhar’ movie offer?

Bollywood’s latest blockbuster movie ‘Dhurandhar’ has written history at the box office. In this movie starring Ranveer Singh as the hero, other characters have also got importance as much as him. Especially the role of Rahman Dakait is a super hit. Akshay Khanna, who has acted in the role, has proved that he is a talented actor of Bollywood. But it is said that this role was initially offered to a southern star actor. Telugu star hero Akkineni Nagarjuna was offered the role of Rahman Dakait, but he reportedly turned it down. Now Nagarjuna himself has clarified this.

Talking about this in a recent interview, Nagarjuna said, ‘Absolutely not, I did not get an offer for this role. But now I feel that I should have got such a wonderful role. ‘Dhurandhar’ is a wonderful movie. I really liked director Aditya Dhar’s making style. Everyone has acted brilliantly in the film, especially Akshay Khanna’s performance is amazing.’ By this, he clarified that he did not get an offer and put an end to the rumours.

Nagarjuna acted as a villain in the movie ‘Coolie’ which was released a few months ago. Even though the movie was not a big hit, Nagarjuna was praised for adapting himself to new experiments. For this reason, the netizens speculated that the negative role offer of the movie ‘Dhurandhar’ might have also come and spread the news. But Nagarjuna clearly denied it. But he has indirectly said that he is ready to act in such a role in the coming days. Recently, Nagarjuna has been playing villain roles and important supporting roles as well. Nagarjuna also played an important supporting role in the movie ‘Kubera’ starring Dhanush.

Now Nagarjuna is preparing to act in his 100th movie. It is directed by R Karthik and actress Tabu is also likely to act in this film. The movie is titled ‘Lottery King’. The movie is being produced by Nagarjuna’s Annapurna Studios. Nagarjuna has already announced that he will release his acting film on Sankranti next year.
