US President Donald Trump has made a big claim regarding the Strait of Hormuz.

What is the news?

US President Donald Trump has given an important statement after announcing that there will be no attack on Iran’s energy facilities for the next 5 days. He said in Florida that America has had strong talks with Iran. If he fulfills his promises then this war will end. Along with this, he also claimed that the Strait of Hormuz will open very soon and it will be under joint control of America and Iran.

What statement did Trump give?

Trump said, “We have had very strong negotiations with Iran. If they keep their promises, the conflict will end. They want to make a deal, we want to make a deal, too.” He further said, “The US is talking to the top person of the Iranian regime, but not to the Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei. I think the most respected and leader. We have removed everyone from the middle. Meaningful results will come soon.”

Strait of Hormuz will open soon- Trump

Trump said, “As soon as there is an agreement, oil prices will fall rapidly, which can stop the war with Iran in West Asia. After the agreement between America and Iran, the road creating deadlock in the Persian Gulf, i.e. the Strait of Hormuz, will open very soon.” On the question of control over the strait, he said, “There will be joint control over it. Mine and the Ayatollah, whoever the Ayatollah is or whoever the next Ayatollah is.”

Trump also threatened along with the agreement

Trump said, “Iran has also agreed not to have nuclear weapons. If negotiations with the Iranian administration go well, we will resolve this matter, otherwise we will continue to bomb heavily.” Here, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said, “Britain is aware of the ongoing talks between America and Iran. In this context, I welcome the talks between America and Iran. This is a good step.”

Iran called the news of talks fake

Contrary to Trump’s statement, Iran has termed the news of the talks as completely fake. Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf wrote on Twitter, ‘There have been no negotiations with America. Fake news is being used to manipulate the financial and oil markets and to avoid the quagmire in which the US and Israel are stuck. The Iranian people demand full and regretful punishment for the invaders.

What did Trump announce to stop the attacks?

Earlier, Trump had written on Truth Social, ‘I am happy that in the last 2 days there were very good and meaningful talks between America and Iran regarding ending mutual enmity. In view of these deep, detailed and constructive conversations, I directed the War Department to postpone for 5 days all attacks on Iran’s energy plants and energy infrastructure. This decision will depend on the success of the ongoing meetings and discussions.
