Engineer was worried about astrologer’s prediction about marriage, took dangerous step

In Bengaluru, a 27-year-old girl committed suicide by hanging herself in her house. It is being told that she was troubled by an astrologer’s prediction about her marriage. Giving information on Monday, police said that this incident happened in Bagalagunte area on Friday.

What is the whole matter?

The deceased was identified as Vidyajyoti, who was working in a tech company. She was in a relationship with a boy from another caste. Both the families agreed to their marriage. A police officer said her parents had recently consulted an astrologer, who predicted that after two years of marriage, the couple might have misunderstandings, which might lead to their separation. The astrologer told Vidya Jyoti that the person you are going to marry will not last even for 2 years. The marriage will break after 2 years.

Was advised to perform rituals for 9 days

To avoid this, the astrologer advised to perform a 9-day ritual and the family did so. However, on the ninth day of the ritual, Vidyajyoti went to her room and committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling fan. During this time his parents were not at home. The incident came to light in the evening when he did not respond even after knocking repeatedly on the door.

Police said his father later broke the door and found him hanging. Bagalagunte police have filed an Unnatural Death Report (UDR) report and further investigation is underway.
