Extension of metro traffic till 3 am in the morning for the new year!

Bangalore: The countdown to the New Year has begun and Silicon City is gearing up to welcome the New Year 2026. BMRCL has given good news to the people of Bengaluru who are now celebrating New Year. Our metro will run till late night for New Year celebrations. Metro train services have been extended till 3 pm today for the convenience of commuters.

BMRCL has shared information about this and has given information on which routes and at what time the last metro will run. It tells you what time the last train will leave from which station.

BMRCL has informed that metro train services on purple, green and yellow lines have been extended to provide safe and smooth travel to the public during the New Year celebrations. The last trains will depart on January 1, 2026 in the early morning.

Timings of Last Metro Trains:

• Purple route: Whitefield to Challaghat – 1:45 am, Challaghat to Whitefield – 2 am
• Green Route: From Madavar to Silk Institute – 2:00 am, From Silk Institute to Madavar – 2:00 am
• Yellow Route : RV Road to Bommasandra – 3:10 am, Bommasandra to RV Road – 1:30 am
