Finally kneeling ‘Jana Nayagan’; Is the release further delayed?

If things went as expected, Dalpati Vijay (Thalapathy Vijay) starrer ‘Jana Nayagan’ should have been released a month already. The movie should already be ready for OTT release. But, not so. Censor board has not given certificate to the film. This is delaying the theatrical release of the movie. The team members have already climbed the court steps. However, the team has thought about withdrawing the case from the court. With this, it is reported that the team has finally come to its knees.

Vijayan Subramanian, advocate for KVN Production, submitted a letter to the Madras High Court Registry. The issue of withdrawal of petition filed against CBFC has been mentioned. Now, it is reported that the production house has decided to submit the film for review before CBFC’s revision committee.

At present, there is no clarification regarding the release of the movie in the court. The team had made a plan to release the movie within a week by applying to the court for an urgent hearing. However, no positive change is seen even after a month. Thus, it is reported that the team has come to this decision.

Once the film is submitted to the review committee, the process takes a month to complete. The team can get the certificate by March. By that time, the Tamil Nadu election will be announced, but the release of the movie will go ahead.

The current development has upset Vijay fans. As it was Vijay’s last film, fans had a lot of expectations. But, the expectation is false. ‘Jana Nayagan’ film by H. Directed by Vinod. Dalpati Vijay, Pooja Hegde, Mamita Baiju and others acted in the movie.
