A fire broke out in Sainik School located in Hamirpur district of Himachal Pradesh on Tuesday afternoon, causing panic in the school. As soon as information about the fire was received, the fire department team reached the spot and brought the fire under control. There is no news of any casualty in the accident. The fire broke out on the third floor of the academic block at Sujanpur Tihra Sainik School. The cause of the fire is being investigated.

Repair work was going on in the school

The police officer said that after seeing smoke rising in the building at around 1 pm, the school administration immediately informed the police and fire department. Due to the fire, the goods kept in the NCC room on the third floor of the school building were burnt and the structure of the building was also damaged. The initial cause of the fire is believed to be short circuit. Renovation and repairing work was going on in the building where the fire broke out.

Major accident averted due to school holiday

Studies take place on the floor of the school where the fire broke out, but winter holidays are currently going on, due to which no child is in school. Due to this a major accident was averted.
