Ranjana claims that she came to know through media reports that Udit has married Deepa Narayan for the second time and since then he is living with her.

According to Ranjana, in the year 1996, Udit, his two brothers and second wife Deepa Narayan took her to a hospital in Delhi. There, under the pretext of treatment, her uterus was fraudulently removed without her knowledge and consent. Ranjana came to know about this when she recently went to the doctor for treatment of some other disease. During the examination, the doctor told her that her uterus was not present in the body.

Insult in Mumbai home and contempt in in-laws

Ranjana told that when she went to Mumbai two decades ago, she was not even allowed to enter Udit’s house. The same treatment happened to him in his in-laws’ house also. After this harassment, he had registered a case in the police station in the year 2006. According to Ranjana, at that time Udit had promised to support her financially, but he never fulfilled his promise.

Ranjana is currently suffering from serious health problems and financial constraints, due to which her condition has become extremely pathetic. He says that for the last several years he has received only ‘assurances’ and no concrete financial assistance from Udit Narayan. He has clarified that this complaint is not out of any vendetta, but an attempt to get justice for his rights, respect and treatment.

Udit’s second wife Deepa also embroiled in controversy

Udit Narayan had a second marriage with Deepa Jha, who was also a singer. Both of them have a son, Aditya Narayan, who is today a famous Bollywood singer, host and actor. Deepa’s name is also included in Ranjana’s complaint.
