Gas tanker overturns in Karwar – driver is serious!

Karwar: The gas tanker overturned when the driver lost control and overturned near Kanchina Door on National Highway-52 in Ankola Taluk of Uttara Kannada District. The driver was seriously injured in the accident.

The gas tanker which was going from Gujarat to Udupi lost control of the driver and overturned due to gas leak in the tanker. Gas tanker driver Arun Sheikh (57) was seriously injured and admitted to Udupi hospital. Also, due to the leakage of ethanol in a gas tanker, traffic on National Highway 52 has been closed and the route has been diverted from Ankola to Madanageri Highway.
