In response to the Pahalgam terror attack, India’s armed forces had taken action against its terrorist organizations in Pakistan and PoK under Operation Sindoor. Furious over the attack on terrorists, Pakistan then started attacks on the LoC and Indian citizens bases in Jammu and Kashmir, in which many people died. In this attack of Pakistan, the Singh Sabha Gurdwara located in Poonch was also targeted. 4 Sikhs were killed in this cowardly attack on the gurudwara by Pakistan. Now on Friday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah visited Poonch in Jammu and Kashmir and went to the Singh Sabha Gurdwara and also prayed there.

Amit Shah visited the gurudwara and temple

Union Home Minister and Cooperative Minister Amit Shah visited Singh Sabha Gurdwara in Poonch and prayed there. The gurudwara was affected by Pakistan’s firing from across the border. After this, Amit Shah visited the Geeta Bhavan temple in Poonch and offered prayers and also inspected the damage caused by Pakistan to the temple due to cross-border firing.

What did Amit Shah say to the people of Poonch?

Union Home Minister Amit Shah met people affected by shelling in Poonch. He said that Pakistan attacked innocent people. Attacked our religious places. Due to this our citizens were casualties. Amit Shah said that we will not tolerate any kind of encroachment on the border of the citizens of India, Army or India. Amit Shah told the people of Poonch that the whole country stands with you like a rock in it.

How was the attack on the gurudwara?

In fact, on 22 April, Pakistan conducted a terrorist attack in Pahalgam. 26 people died in this. In response, India’s forces launched Operation Sindoor on the night of 6-7 May and demolished the terrorist bases of Pakistan and PoK. Nearly 100 terrorists were killed in this. Pakistan then attacked the common citizens and bases of India with bullets and cannon near the border. During this attack, Pakistan also targeted the Singh Sabha Gurdwara in Poonch. However, the Indian forces then retaliated against Pakistan. Many airbase of Pakistan, fighter aircraft air defense etc. were destroyed. After this, Pakistan came to the knees and started demanding a ceasefire. This was followed by ceasefire between the two countries on 10 May.

How will those who were damaged will help?

Addressing the people of Poonch, Home Minister Amit Shah said- “We all know that compensation, government jobs etc. cannot cause loss of life. Poonch has damaged many people’s homes, many business places have been damaged. LG Sahab said that the Government of Jammu and Kashmir has assisted. However, the Government of India will soon bring the package for business places.”
