Heavy rain forecast today in Kodagu, Udupi – Btv Kannada

Udupi: Anganwadi, primary and secondary schools have been announced in the wake of heavy rains across the district.

Monsoon rains have begun and the Red Alert has been announced today for Udupi district. As a precautionary measure, vacation for Anganwadi, primary and secondary schools has been announced as a precautionary measure to prevent any unpleasant incidents. Udupi District Collector Dr Vidyakumari has issued an order.

Torrential rains are forecast in many parts of Kodagu district. Therefore, the holidays have been announced today for Anganwadis. The Meteorological Department has also given Red Alert. This is why holidays have been announced for Anganwadi, schools and undergraduate colleges in the district.

Rain is forecast in many parts of the state, including Bangalore. Thus, the Yellow Alert has been announced in many districts. Yellow Alert has been announced for 16 districts including Bidar, Kalaburagi, Yadagiri, Bangalore, Bangalore Rural, Mysore, Ramanagar and Mandya.
