Bangalore: The rain, which has been given to the state since last week, has begun again. The Met Department has forecast heavy rains across the state for the next five days.
Rainfall in all districts of Karnataka is expected from tomorrow to June 16, with Red Alert, Yellow Alert and Red Alert announced in various districts. The Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Center (KSNDMC) said heavy rains are likely to be covered across the state, with heavy rainfall in the northern inland and coastal districts.
Red Alert has been announced for Uttara Kannada, Udupi, Shimoga, Dakshina Kannada and Kodagu Chikkamagaluru district on June 12. Orange Alert has been announced to Belgaum, Dharwad, Gadag, Koppal, Raichur, Vijayanagar, Bellary, Davanagere and Hassan district. Yellow Alert has been given to 16 districts including Bidar, Kalburgi, Yadagiri, Bangalore, Bangalore Rural, Mysore, Ramanagar and Mandya.
