Bangalore: The High Court has issued an order not to take forced action against IAS officer Vasanthi Amar. Recently, a FIR was filed against Vasanthi Amar at the Ulsoor Gate Police Station in connection with the order of the Land Justice Board.
Vasanthi Amar had appealed to the State High Court in this connection. The High Court has now issued an order not to take any action against Vasanthi Amar and continue the case for a week.
Vasanthi Amar, who was working as a special district officer in Bangalore (2024), was alleged to have issued an illegal order for a 10 -acre government land in Survey No. 8 of Dasanapura Hobali village.
The Regional Commissioner of the Bangalore Division has instructed the District Collector to file an FIR against Section 35 of the Karnataka Land Revenue Act, 1964 and the FIR of the Indian Justice 257 against Vasanthi Amar. FIR was filed against Vasanthi Amar at the Ulsoor Gate Station on his instructions.
