Under this, 285 Indian citizens were brought to Delhi by special aircraft from the city of Mashhad city of Iran on Sunday. Minister of State for External Affairs released a statement

With this, 1,713 Indian citizens have been brought safe from Iran and Israel so far.
2-3 flying will come from Iran now
An Indian embassy official in Iran said that not all Indian citizens have been returned so far. All citizens applying to the embassy are engaged in an attempt to get them out. In such a situation, 2 to 3 more flights have been scheduled from Iran in the next 2 days. Here, Margerita clarified that the Indian Ministry of External Affairs is in constant touch with all Indian citizens living in Iran and Israel.
What is ‘Operation Indus’
The Ministry of External Affairs launched a campaign of withdrawal of Indians on June 19 in view of the recent developments between Israel and Iran. It is named ‘Operation Sindhu’. The ministry had said, “The Government of India has decided to remove the Indian citizens from Israel and Iran who want to go from there. Their travel to India will be smooth through the land border and then by air to India.”
