How to apply for KCC?
For this, you have to go to your nearby bank and apply. Apart from this, you can give digital application for this from 1 October 2023. With this you will need Aadhaar card, voter ID, address proof, ration card, electricity bill, land papers and passport size photos. Bank officials will check the application and documents and confirm the truth of the land. KCC will be issued by the bank after verification.
What is the benefit of the card?
While issuing KCC, the limit is fixed by the bank based on the size of the land, the type of crop, the cost of the crop and the previous loan payment records. A loan of more than Rs 40,000 to Rs 1 lakh can be received on 1 bigha. Banks take 7 percent interest on this loan, out of which 4 percent farmers and 3 percent government give. This provides crop insurance facility along with loans at low interest.
