There will be no rain on Holi, weather will remain dry

The Meteorological Department said that the weather is likely to be very hot and dry on the day of Holi (4 March 2026) in many states of North India including UP, Haryana, Bihar and Delhi-NCR. There is no possibility of rain in the plains states of North India on Holi this year. The temperature on the day of Holi may remain higher than normal, which will increase the feeling of heat.

Winds will blow at a speed of 20 to 30 kilometers

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of winds at a speed of 20 to 30 kilometers per hour in Haryana, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh on March 3 and 4. The temperature will be above normal in many states. IMD said that in many states including Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, the maximum temperature may increase by 2-5 degrees Celsius in the next five days.

There is rain alert here on Holi day

On the other hand, in many areas of the hilly states of North India, especially Jammu and Kashmir, light rain and snowfall is expected on the day of Holi i.e. March 4. There is a possibility of light rain and snowfall in the higher reaches of Kashmir between March 4 and 7.
