Bangalore: The case of newlywed Ganavi suicide in Ramamurthynagar, Bangalore has now taken the form of serial suicides. After the death of his wife, husband Suraj committed suicide in Nagpur, Maharashtra. Sooraj’s mother Jayanthi also tried to commit suicide by consuming poison and is struggling between life and death in the hospital.

Ganavi and Sooraj, who had got married a few months ago, started getting upset within a few days of their marriage. The couple recently went on honeymoon. But as a result of a fight between the two there, he cut the trip in half and returned to Bangalore. After this, Ganavi tried to commit suicide at his residence in Ramamurthynagar. He was immediately admitted to the hospital, but the treatment did not work, but he died.

After Ganavi’s death, Suraj’s family was severely humiliated and harassed by her parents and relatives. Hurt by this, Suraj left for Nagpur, Maharashtra along with his mother Jayanti and brother Sanjay. Suraj committed suicide in one of the hotels there, Jayanthi, the mother who was saddened by the death of her son, also tried to commit suicide by consuming poison. He is currently undergoing treatment in a hospital in Nagpur.

The exact cause of these series of deaths is currently a mystery. The Ramamurthynagar police has intensified its investigation and is checking the call records (CDR) and chats of the mobile phones of the couple. The investigation is continuing on the dimension of whether someone had a love affair before the marriage and whether the same led to marital discord.
