IMD Rain Alert: Many states including Delhi-UP-Bihar in the grip of storm and rain, IMD alert issued

IMD Rain Alert: Once again, changes are being seen in the weather across the country. The effect of snowfall on the mountains of North India is now being seen in the plains as well. According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), there is a possibility of thunderstorm and rain in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and many other states today i.e. on Saturday and Sunday.

How will the weather be in Delhi?

Change in weather can be seen in the country’s capital Delhi and its surrounding areas today. IMD has issued rain alert in Delhi and Noida. According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, there may be rain and thundershowers in Delhi-NCR till March 30.

Storm and rain in Uttar Pradesh

The weather is going to deteriorate in Uttar Pradesh also. Today IMD has issued a warning of thunderstorm and rain in about 38 districts of UP. Apart from this, there is also a possibility of lightning falling in some districts. By March 30, there may be heavy rains with thunderstorms in most parts of Uttar Pradesh.

Weather condition in Bihar

The weather is going to be bad in Bihar also. Today, storm and rain are expected in 8 districts of Bihar. These include Kishanganj, Araria, Supaul, Purnia, Katihar, Saharsa, Madhepura and Khagaria.

Snowfall and rain on the mountains

Change in weather is also being seen in the hilly areas of Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh. There may be intermittent rain and snowfall in the next few days in 7 districts of Uttarakhand – Nainital, Rudraprayag, Uttarkashi, Bageshwar, Pithoragarh, Tehri and Chamoli. In Himachal Pradesh too, there is heavy rain in the hilly areas. IMD has predicted snowfall and rain in some districts of Himachal Pradesh till March 30. After this, there may be rain at some places on March 31 also.

Rain alert in Jharkhand also

At the same time, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain in most parts of Jharkhand in the next two days. IMD has issued a yellow alert regarding the storm. Especially in other parts of the state except Garhwa, Palamu, Chatra and Latehar districts, there is a possibility of strong wind, lightning and hailstorm on Saturday.
