Did Imran Khan target ‘Dhurandhar 2’?

What is the news?

Actor Imran Khan has made a scathing attack on the current trend of Bollywood without taking the name of any film or actor. He has criticized the characters which are being presented nowadays in the name of great acting. Sarcasm on films like ‘Dhurandhar’ and ‘Animal’

Has Imran targeted films like Ranveer Singh’s ‘Dhurandhar’ and Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animal’ without naming them? This question has been in the news ever since Imran Khan gave a candid answer to a fan’s question during his ‘Reddit Ask Me Anything’ session. In this session he not only criticized such films but also strongly condemned stories that glorify misogyny and violence.

“I have no interest in playing the role of a bloody and angry man.”

Appealing to Imran, a fan wrote on social media, ‘Please, do not turn towards those ‘macho’ (masculinity) characters, which are very much in trend these days.’ On this Imran replied boldly. He wrote, ‘Yes, I have no interest in playing the character of a blood-stained, long-haired and angry man. I think these types of characters and films are already being represented too much.
