Indian students were sent to a safe place in Iran, the Ministry of External Affairs told

Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has expressed concern over the safety of Kashmiri students in Iran and urged the Center to take quick action.

He posted on X in this regard and told that he has spoken to External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar regarding the current security situation.

Lok Sabha MP and All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi had expressed concern about the safety of Indian students in Iran.
