India Venezuela Relations: Venezuela’s power was shaken in the dark of night, the American Army forcibly took away their President Nicolas Maduro from Caracas, which shocked the whole world. Now India also expressed concern over this unexpected incident. India’s Foreign Ministry issued a statement saying that they are keeping a close eye on the situation. India gave statement in support of Venezuela

In a statement issued by the Ministry of External Affairs of India, it was said, ‘The recent incident in Venezuela is extremely worrying. We are closely monitoring the situation. India reiterates its support for the well-being and security of the Venezuelan people. We appeal to all concerned parties to find a peaceful solution through dialogue to ensure peace and stability in the area.

Indians stranded in Venezuela will get help

The Ministry of External Affairs also gave assurance to the Indians present in Venezuela. Said in his statement, ‘The Indian Embassy in Caracas is in touch with the people of the Indian community and will continue to provide them all possible help.’

Advisory for Indian citizens in Venezuela

Earlier in another statement, the Ministry of External Affairs had issued a statement saying that in view of the recent developments in Venezuela, Indian citizens should avoid all non-essential trips to Venezuela. All Indians present in Venezuela for any reason are advised to exercise utmost caution, limit their activities and remain in touch with the Embassy of India in Caracas through their email id- cons.caracas@mea.gov.in or emergency phone number +58-412-9584288 (also for WhatsApp calls).
