The flight number 6E6271 of IndiGo going from Delhi to Goa, after failing an engine, was fully landing in Mumbai in an emergency. The pilot immediately showed understanding and played the alarm after which the flight was safely landed and the flight was launched at Mumbai Airport as a precaution. The Indigo spokesperson issued a statement saying that on 16 July 2025, the technical fault was detected in flight number 6E 6271 while flying from Delhi to Manohar International Airport, Goa.

The engine failed in the air, the pilot played the alarm
According to sources, after flying from Delhi, an engine of the aircraft failed in mid-air, after which the pilot immediately reported it and then sought permission for emergency landing in Mumbai. After the emergency alarm was played at 9.25 pm on Wednesday night, full emergency protocols were implemented at the airport, fire tenders and ambulances were placed on standby and then a safe landing was made at 9.42 minutes of the flight night.
