The Karnataka government is preparing to introduce a new law after a stampede in Bangalore during the honor ceremony of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on 4 June. It is named Karnataka Crowd Control Bill, 2025. This proposed law includes imprisonment of up to 3 years and a fine of Rs 5,000 for breaking the rules. The draft of the law was presented at the Cabinet meeting of Karnataka held today (June 19).
