‘Lambodara 2.0’ to be directed by Simple Suni – Muhurta at ISKCON temple! – Btv Kannada

Acclaimed director Simple Suni is all set to direct AI social thriller ‘Lambodara 2.0’. Anil Shetty is making his film debut as a lead actor through this film. Bollywood actress Sachi Bindra is entering Sandalwood.

Being produced under the MASS Production banner, Lambodara 2.0 explores contemporary themes like artificial intelligence (AI), youth and the rapidly transforming digital environment. The film is conceived as a socially relevant high-concept thriller that caters to today’s digitally connected generation.

The muhurta ceremony of the film was recently held at the ISKCON temple in the presence of artistes and technical team. The principal shoot is expected to begin later this month and director Simple Suni is involved in the pre-production work with his team.

Simple Suni said, “This is a completely original story inspired by the lives of today’s youth in the digital age. An AI-social thriller, the film follows the journey of a young man in Bangalore and uncovers the conflict between the real world and the digital world step by step.”

What attracted me most about Lambodara 2.0 was its contemporaneity and emotional depth. Although it reflects the realities of our digital lives, it does not lose humanity. Working with Simple Suni and sharing the screen with Anil Shetty has made this journey even more special,” said Saachi Bindra.

Anil Shetty said, “Lambodara 2.0 is a story that vividly reflects the world we live in today. It strongly shows how technology shapes our emotions and decisions. My debut with a film like this under the direction of Simple Suni is truly special.”

The producers said that discussions are going on with famous Bollywood actors for an important role in the film. Also, popular influencer Mac Matcha has also joined the cast in a pivotal role.

The technical team of the film includes Veer Samarth as the music director, Santhosh Rai Pathaje as the cinematographer and Ullas Haidur as the production designer. The film’s writers Anil Shetty and Abhijit Mahesh promise that Lambodara 2.0 will be a thought-provoking cinematic experience that combines technology, emotion and social relevance through an exciting thriller narrative.
