Bidar: Even though crores of illegal money was found in the Lokayukta raid, Assistant Director of Aurad Agriculture Department in Bidar district Dhualappa continues to serve today. Two months after the attack, the government has not taken any action, which has led to public outrage.
On October 14, the Lokayukta police raided the assistant director of agriculture department of Bidar district, Aurad, Dhualappa, and seized more than Rs 1 crore in illegal cash. Two and a half months have passed since the Lokayukta submitted its report to the ADGP in this regard, but the government has not suspended the officer so far. The fact that Dhulappa continued in the same post despite being caught with crores of money has given rise to many doubts and the question has arisen as to who are the influential people behind the corrupt officer.

Why is the government, which immediately suspends low-level employees who accept bribes of millions of rupees, silent on the issue of Dhulappa, who was caught with crores of illegal money? Are senior officials involved in this corruption?” Questions are being asked in the public sector. Although the officer attacked by Lokayukta should have been legally suspended, influence seems to have prevailed here. But we have to wait and see if the government will wake up and take action.
