Lokayukta sudden attack on Mandya AC office

Mandya: A team of Lokayukta officials suddenly raided the office of the Sub-Divisional Officer (AC) of the district. The attack was led by two DySPs who had arrived from Bengaluru and the Lokayukta officials seized the mobile phones of each staff member as they entered the office.

Verification of documents is being done in all sections of the office. A team of Lokayukta officials suddenly raided in the wake of complaints from the public.

Are officers and staff attending office on time? Are the applications submitted by the public being disposed of in time or is the attitude of delay followed? The Google Pay and Phone Pay transactions of the officials were checked on the suspicion that money was being received in the form of bribes.
