Madhya Pradesh: Mother made them drink poisonous tea, 3 children died

A surprising case has come to light from Alirajpur in Madhya Pradesh. There a mother gave poisonous tea to her three children. Due to this, all three children died, while the condition of the mother is critical. The woman is undergoing treatment in Dahod, Gujarat. This incident took place in village Adwada of Ambua police station area of Alirajpur. Police have registered the case and started investigation. Family dispute is suspected to be the reason behind the incident.

Woman mixed pesticide in tea and fed it to children

Police said that Ahwada resident Noor Bai (30), wife of Mukesh, got upset for unknown reasons on Friday evening and mixed the pesticide kept in the house in tea. After that, Noor Bai gave this poisonous tea to her two daughters and one son and then consumed the tea herself. He told that the family came to know about the incident when the health of the children deteriorated. The family members immediately took all four to the hospital.

Children died during treatment

Hospital doctor Sachin Patidar said that all four were referred to the district hospital after first aid, where the elder daughter Savitri (7) died. After that, son Karthik (5) and younger daughter Divya (3) were referred to Dahod along with Noor Bai. Karthik and Divya died during treatment. At present Noor Bai is undergoing treatment in Dahod hospital. His condition remains critical.

Why did the woman give poisonous tea to her children?

Superintendent of Police (SP) Raghuvansh Singh said that the investigation done so far has revealed that the woman’s husband Mukesh had gone to Gujarat for a month as a laborer. There used to be disputes between the two every day. Both of them got married in the year 2016. He said the police are now investigating whether there was any recent dispute or tension between the couple.
