Mahindra & Mahindra has unveiled its electric car XUV 3XO EV. It is available in 2 variants – AX5 and AX7L. It will replace Mahindra XUV400 in the company’s lineup. The company claims that this compact electric SUV can cover a distance of 285 kilometers on a single charge. The car takes 8.3 seconds to accelerate from 0-100 km/h. It will compete with Tata Nexon EV in the Indian market.

This ICE model is the electric version of the XUV 3XO, which is slightly shorter at 4-metres in length. At the front, LED projector headlights, LED fog lights, 17-inch alloy wheels, body cladding, LED tail lights and other attractive features are seen. The cabin gets the same 10.25-inch screens for infotainment and instrumentation as the ICE model, dual-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, leatherette upholstery, 7-speaker Harman Kardon audio system and ADAS suite.
The battery pack of the car is like this
The XUV 3XO EV features a single 39.4kWh battery pack, which powers the front electric motor generating 150hp power and 310Nm peak torque. These figures are the same as the existing XUV400. It has been given 3 drive modes – Fun, Fast and Fearless. Mahindra claims that the battery can be charged from 0-80 percent in 50 minutes with a 50kW DC charger. Its price ranges between Rs 13.89-14.96 lakh (ex-showroom).
