Malleswaram’s Mantri Mall is locked again!

Bangalore: Bangalore’s prestigious Mantri Mall has been locked again due to non-payment of property tax. Earlier too, the mall was seized many times for non-payment of crores of tax. This time also Rs. 30,81,45,600. The authorities seized the mall this morning and sent a notice due to tax arrears.

Mantri Mall in Malleswaram is owned by Abhishek Developers and the mall owner has not paid the tax due to GBA properly. For this reason Mantri Mall has been locked and seized.

Mantri Mall has been locked many times:

In the past too Mantri Mall was locked many times. In 2020, Mantri Mall was locked due to non-payment of property tax amounting to Rs 42,63,40,874. Despite repeated notices, the mall management did not take action to pay the tax. Later, in 2021, due to the outstanding property tax of Rs 20,33,34,828, it also warned of confiscation of property.
