Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s NDA alliance has maintained its lead in 196 constituencies, crushing the opposition Mahaghatabandhan (MGB). The Mahaghatabandhan alliance against the NDA suffered a severe setback, leading in only 41 constituencies. NDA – 196, MGB – 41, JSP – 0, and Others (OTH) – 6 seats lead. With this result, the voters have clearly supported Nitish Kumar’s administration in Bihar.
The landslide victory of the NDA alliance will be final in the result of the Bihar assembly elections. The massive and organized pre-election campaign by the NDA alliance led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and CM Nitish Kumar was the main reason behind the Mahaghatabandhan (MGB).
The NDA alliance held a total of 565 election rallies across Bihar. 565 rallied and managed to reach every voter through this massive campaign. In these conventions, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar directly influenced the voters by holding separate conventions. Not just Modi and Nitish, many prominent BJP leaders including LJP leader Chirag Paswan have held rallies across the state.
The Mahaghatabandhan alliance led by the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) suffered a crushing defeat in the elections. Youth leader Tejashwi Yadav’s tactics with promises of jobs and change failed to attract voters. Also, the joint rallies held with Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also did not translate into votes at the expected level.
