Muslim boy abducted Hindu girl from UP, both minors, caught in MP

A minor love couple who eloped from Etawah in Uttar Pradesh on the last day of the year has been dropped at Khandwa railway station on the first day of the year. After presenting him before the Child Welfare Committee here, he was handed over to his family members. It is being told that both of them were in love for the last one and a half year and were running away from home and going to Mumbai. The special thing is that both of them changed trains repeatedly on the way to Mumbai and even broke their mobile SIM. So that their location cannot be traced.

Three different teams of UP Police were deployed to search for the minor couple. The girl was a Hindu, while the boy was from the Muslim community. Due to the different religions of both, the UP Police was on alert. Khandwa RPF dropped both of them from the Punjab Mail train going to Mumbai. Both were handed over to the Child Welfare Committee. The Child Welfare Committee interrogated both of them, recorded their statements and then handed them over to their families in the presence of the police.

Changed train to Mumbai repeatedly, SIM also broken

UP Police was busy searching for the minor couple with all their might. Both of them were aware of this. So that her mobile location could not be traced, the girl had removed the SIM of the Android mobile and broken it. The boy had kept his mobile phone switched off. Also he was changing trains frequently. Boarded from Etawah to Mumbai but got down at Gwalior, then boarded from Gwalior and got down at Bina. They boarded the Punjab Mail train from Bina and started going to Mumbai, when the RPF police stopped both of them at Khandwa station.

Keypad mobile call details caught from CCTV

The girl had two mobile phones, fearing that her location would be traced, she had removed the SIM of the Android mobile and broke it. But a keypad mobile present with him was active, due to which the lover was in touch with his Mumbai resident relative. The mobile surveillance team of UP Police had kept the keypad mobile on continuous search. The tower location was being searched from there. Apart from this, it became clear in the CCTV footage of Bina Railway Station that he was sitting in the Punjab Mail train. On receiving the information, the RPF team had already become active at Khandwa station.

The minor lovers had eloped from home on December 31. He traveled from morning till the next day, New Year i.e. 1 January. He was dropped at Khandwa station at 2 am on January 1. Due to it being late at night, at around 3 o’clock in the night, the minor girl was given shelter in the One Stop Center for safety, where her care, security and necessary facilities were provided.

Girl studies in ninth class

On January 2, the Child Welfare Committee counseled both the minors. Child Welfare Committee Chairman Praveen Sharma along with committee members Mohan Malviya, Ruchi Patil, Kavita Patel, Swapnil Jain interrogated both of them. During this time it came to light that both of them live in the same locality. The girl is a 9th class student. The boy, being a minor, is also involved in the furniture business. Both come from middle class families.
