Bangalore: Olympics medalist Javelin Patu Neeraj Chopra won the first international javelin tourney NC classic in Bangalore.
Neeraj Chopra took first place in the 3rd round of the javelin at the competition held at Kanthirawa Stadium in Bangalore on Saturday. Julius Yego of Kenya (84.51m) and Sri Lanka’s Rumesh Pathiraj (83.34m) finished 2nd and 3rd respectively. Another javelin player in India, Sachin Yadav, finished 4th with a maximum of 82.33 meters.
