Negligence of the hospital staff.. Newborn baby died after falling to the ground – anger of the parents! – Btv Kannada

Haveri: Due to the gross negligence of the staff of the District Women and Children’s Hospital, the death of a newborn baby has taken place. The relatives of the child have expressed their anger that the irresponsibility of the staff is the cause of this tragedy.

Rupa Girish Karabanna of Kakola village of Ranebennur taluk was brought to Haveri District Women and Children’s Hospital at 9 am today due to labor pains. It has been seriously alleged that the on-duty hospital staff made Roopa sit on the floor without giving her a proper bed for an hour even though the pregnant woman was writhing in pain. As the pain increased, Roopa tried to go to the toilet. She gave birth on her way to the toilet. Due to this accidental delivery, the newborn baby fell on the ground, suffered severe injuries and died on the spot.

Relatives alleged that the accident happened because the doctors and nurses of the hospital were on duty but instead of giving urgent treatment to the pregnant woman, they were negligent by talking on mobile phones. The child’s parents and relatives have given an angry statement that their negligence was the cause of the child’s death.

The parents demanded that appropriate legal action should be taken against the doctors and nurses responsible for the incident.
