New Mahindra XUV 7XO launched in spectacular design, know the price

What is the news?

Mahindra & Mahindra has launched the facelift model of its XUV700, XUV 7XO. Its booking will start from January 14. Deliveries of select variants will begin from this day, after which delivery of the remaining variants will be done in a phased manner during April. Compared to Mahindra XUV700, there has been a lot of improvement in terms of technology, features and comfort along with changes in its design. It competes with Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus and Hyundai Alcazar.

This is the design of the new XUV 7XO

The new Mahindra XUV 7XO gets new LED headlights flanked by boomerang-shaped DRLs, a new front grille and updated taillights with hexagonal detailing. Apart from the new design of alloy wheels, the look is largely similar to the current XUV700. The interior has a three-screen setup with a new color scheme, which includes a digital display for the driver, a central infotainment screen and a separate screen for the front passenger, which is 12.3-inch in size.

These features are available in the car

The SUV gets a new 2-spoke steering wheel, touch panel for heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats and powered boss mode for the front passenger seat. Apart from this, a 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system with Dolby Atmos and wireless charging are also included. For safety, it has been provided with 7 airbags, 540-degree camera, electronic parking brake with auto-hold, ISOFIX seat anchorage and level-2 ADAS suite with adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist.

How much is the price of this SUV?

The XUV 7XO has the same 2 engine options as before, which include a 2-litre turbo-petrol engine with 200hp power and a 2.2-litre diesel engine with 185hp. Both 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox options are available. Higher variants of the diesel engine also have the option of an all-wheel drive (AWD) system. Its 7-seater model is priced between Rs 13.66-24.92 lakh, while the 6-seater is priced between Rs 22.16-24.11 lakh (prices, ex-showroom).
