Bracewell out due to left calf injury
NZC said in a statement, “Bracewell has been ruled out of the remainder of the T20 World Cup due to a left calf injury. He suffered a calf injury during the third ODI against India last month, from which he had recovered. But he injured the muscle again during the warm-up last Sunday. Scans have revealed the seriousness of the injury.”

Cole McConchie will join the team
Off-spinning all-rounder Cole McConchie will come to India to join the team as a traveling reserve along with fast bowler Ben Sears. Canterbury Kings captain McConchie last represented New Zealand in April 2024. McConchie has played 133 T20 matches, taking 1,920 runs in batting and 83 wickets in bowling. He has played 12 T-20 international matches for New Zealand.
