How did the American and Ukrainian embassies react?

The US Embassy in Delhi said, “We are aware of the situation, but for privacy reasons we cannot comment on matters involving US citizens.” Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry has said that among the arrested accused are 6 Ukrainian citizens. Is this some big conspiracy?

According to sources familiar with the matter, 14 Ukrainian citizens entered India on tourist visas on different dates. They flew to Guwahati in Assam and then to Mizoram, the state bordering Myanmar, without proper documents and eventually entered Myanmar. Their aim was to train drones in Myanmar that have links to insurgent groups banned in India. A large number of drones were sent from Europe to Myanmar via India.
