Belagavi: The amount of offerings have been counted at the famous Sri Renuka Yallama Temple in Belagavi district of Karnataka. A video of counting of money offered in the temple has also surfaced. The notes were counted by the temple staff and some students. According to the information, an offering of Rs 3.07 crore has come to the temple. Apart from cash, jewelery has also been offered. Let us tell you that the counting was done between March 9 and March 12. During this time people got tired of counting the notes.
Offering of Rs 3.07 crore
In fact, a long queue of devotees is seen every day in the Sri Renuka Yallamma temple of the district. Here devotees also voluntarily offer money as donations. A record collection of Rs 3.07 crore has been made here as donation. Sri Renuka Yallamma Temple is located on the outskirts of Savadatti taluk of Belagavi district. The counting of donations received from the donation boxes of Yallamma temple has been completed. A total donation of Rs 3.07 crore has been collected here.
What was found in the counting?
The collection includes Rs 2.78 crore in cash, 100 grams of gold jewelery worth Rs 16.16 lakh and 4 kg 547 grams of silver jewelery worth Rs 12.35 lakh. Donations were counted last week also. According to the information, record donations were collected during the counting held between March 9 and March 12. The counting work was done jointly by the temple staff and students.
