PM Modi addresses the 28th conference of Speakers and Presiding Officers of the Commonwealth

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the 28th Conference of Lok Sabha Speakers and Presiding Officers from Commonwealth countries in the Parliament House complex. This conference was presided over by Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla. It was attended by 61 Lok Sabha Speakers and Presiding Officers from 42 Commonwealth countries and 4 semi-autonomous parliaments from different parts of the world. India named this place dedicated to democracy as the Constituent Assembly. Has been named.”

PM Modi said, “India is the fastest growing major economy in the world. UPI in India is the world’s largest digital payment system. India is the world’s largest vaccine producer. India is the world’s No. 2 steel producer. India has the world’s third largest startup ecosystem. India is the world’s third largest aviation market. India has the world’s fourth largest rail network. India has the world’s third largest metro rail network.” He said, “The hallmark of democracy in India is that benefits reach to the last person. We are working without any discrimination for every person in the spirit of public welfare and due to this spirit of public welfare, 25 crore people in India have come out of poverty in the last few years.”
