Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi has given a big statement regarding PM Modi’s two-day visit to Israel. Priyanka Gandhi said, I hope that Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji, while addressing the Parliament during his upcoming visit to Israel, will mention the massacre of thousands of innocent men, women and children in Gaza and demand justice for them. India has stood for truth throughout its history as an independent nation, we must continue to show the light of truth, peace and justice to the world.
What did PM Modi say before his visit to Israel?
At the invitation of my dear friend Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, I am paying a state visit to Israel on 25-26 February 2026. India and Israel share a strong and multidimensional strategic partnership, which has seen remarkable growth and dynamism in recent years. I look forward to discussions with Prime Minister Netanyahu aimed at further strengthening our cooperation in a variety of areas, including science and technology, innovation, agriculture, water management, defense and security, trade and investment, as well as people-to-people relations. We will also exchange views on regional and global issues of mutual interest.
PM Modi will address Israel’s Parliament
During this visit, I will also meet the President of Israel, His Excellency Isaac Herzog. I will also have the honor of becoming the first Indian Prime Minister to address the Israeli Parliament, the Knesset, which will be a tribute to the strong parliamentary and democratic ties that bind our two countries. I also look forward to meeting members of the Indian diaspora who have long cherished the special India-Israel friendship. I am confident that my State Visit will further strengthen the strong ties between the two countries, set new goals for the strategic partnership and advance our shared vision for a resilient, innovative and prosperous future.
