PM Modi left for 5 countries, told the agenda of tour before leaving

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has left for 5 countries Ghana, Trinidad and Tobago, Argentina, Brazil and Namibia on his visit from 2 to 9 July on Wednesday. During this time he will meet the leaders of these countries, strengthen bilateral relations and strengthen India’s position on global forums. The Prime Minister will first reach Ghana, where he is going on the invitation of President John Droni Mahama. India has historical relations with Ghana and plays an important role in the African Union and the West African countries’ organizations (ECOWAS).

PM will meet Trinidad leaders

Before going on the journey, PM Modi said, “I will discuss with Ghana to increase cooperation in areas like investment, energy, health, security and development.” He will also address Ghana’s Parliament, which will show the democratic spirit of both countries. After Ghana, PM Modi will visit Trinidad and Tobago, where he will meet President Christine Carla Kangalu and Kamla Parasad-Bissar, who became Prime Minister for the second time recently. There are 180 years old cultural and historical relationship between India and this country. The PM said, “This tour will further strengthen our special relationships.”

Emphasis on cooperation in many areas with Argentina

PM Modi will go to Buenos Aires after 57 years on the first bilateral visit of an Indian Prime Minister to Argentina’s first bilateral visit. He will meet President Howaver Miley and insist on increasing cooperation in areas such as agriculture, important minerals, energy, trade, tourism and technology. The PM said, “Argentina is our important economic partner in Latin America.”

PM Modi will participate in BRICS Summit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be at Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on 6 and 7 July where he will attend the BRICS summit. Regarding this summit, the Prime Minister said that India is committed to promoting cooperation among emerging economies. He will also meet world leaders. Subsequently, in Brasilia he will further strengthen the India-Brazilian partnership with President Luiz Eneasio Lula Dr. Silva. The PM said, “We will work together to carry forward the priorities of Global South.”

Namibia will be the last stop of the journey

The last stop of PM Modi’s visit will be Namibia, where he will meet President Dr. Netumbo Nandi Datwah. There is a common history of colonial conflict between the two countries. He will address the joint session of Namibia’s Parliament and will prepare a new roadmap for cooperation between the two countries. The Prime Minister said, “This journey will deepen India’s friendship with global South countries, strengthen partnerships on both sides of the Atlantic and will increase cooperation on forums like BRICS, African Union, Ecowas and Caricom.”
