Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla claimed that an unexpected incident could have happened with PM Modi in Parliament tomorrow.

New Delhi: Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla has made a big claim regarding postponing PM Modi’s speech in the House. Actually, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s speech was to be held in the Lok Sabha at 5 pm on Wednesday, but it was postponed at the last moment. The reason for this has come to light today (Thursday). Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla himself told the Chair that there was a possibility of an unexpected incident happening to PM Modi, that is why he requested PM Modi not to come to the House.

There is a possibility of unexpected incident with PM- Speaker

During the proceedings of Lok Sabha, Speaker Om Birla made a big claim and said that PM Modi was going to be attacked in the House tomorrow. An unexpected incident could have happened in Parliament. Considering the situation, I requested PM Modi not to come to the House and he also accepted it. The Speaker warned the Congress MPs that if they bring posters, the proceedings in Parliament will not go on.

Proceedings adjourned due to uproar by opposition MPs

It is noteworthy that on Wednesday, the proceedings of the Lok Sabha were repeatedly disrupted due to sloganeering by the opposition members. Meanwhile, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla requested for a voice vote, after which the motion was passed without PM Modi’s speech. PM Modi was to reply to the motion of thanks on the President’s address on Wednesday, but due to repeated disruptions and sloganeering by opposition members, the Speaker adjourned the Lok Sabha.

Government does not want to allow discussion – Priyanka Gandhi

Regarding this, Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra said, ‘The Prime Minister is hiding behind the Speaker. Yesterday he did not have the courage to come to the House because three women were standing in front of the Speaker. No discussion is taking place because the government does not want to allow discussion.

Know that Prime Minister Modi is going to deliver a speech on the motion of thanks on the President’s address in the Rajya Sabha today. Regarding this, suspended Congress MP Manickam Tagore said that unless Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi is allowed to express his views, the opposition will not allow PM Modi to speak in the House. Also, Tagore criticized the passing of the motion of thanks on the President’s address.
