PM Modi will inaugurate AI Impact Summit today, more than 20 heads of state will gather

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit and inaugurate the India AI Impact Summit 2026 at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi on 19 February. During this time, he will also hold bilateral meetings with many global leaders attending the summit. Let us tell you that the theme of this summit is ‘Sarvajan Hitaya, Sarvajan Sukhaay’, which means ‘welfare of all and happiness of all’. It aims to establish India as a leading country in the field of AI and envision a future where AI advances humanity, promotes inclusive growth and protects our common planet. It will include 500 experts from around the world and heads of state from 20 countries.

Many big names will address the inauguration ceremony

The Prime Minister will attend the inaugural ceremony of the India AI Impact Summit 2026 on February 19 at approximately 9:40 am. Along with him, the President of France, the Secretary General of the United Nations and various top industrialists from across the world will also address the inauguration ceremony. After this, he along with other leaders will visit the India AI Impact Expo 2026 at around 11 am, where they will see the pavilions of different countries. Prime Minister Modi will then participate in the leaders’ plenary session starting at around 12 noon. In this, heads of state, ministers and senior representatives of multilateral institutions will come together to outline national and global priorities on AI.

Modi will attend CEO roundtable conference in the evening

PM Modi will participate in the CEO roundtable conference from 5:30 pm. In this, senior executives of technology companies from around the world will meet with government leadership to discuss investment, research collaboration, supply chain and deployment of AI systems. The Prime Minister will visit the country pavilion at the India AI Impact Expo 2026 along with these other global leaders. The summit will bring together more than 500 global leaders in the field of AI, including CEOs/CXOs, around 100 founders and CEOs, 150 academicians and researchers, and 400 entrepreneurs. It will also be attended by more than 100 government representatives, including more than 20 heads of state and government and about 60 ministers and deputy ministers.
