Ranveer Singh’s film Dhurandhar 2 is making waves at the box office with its release. The film has created history with an opening of Rs 145 crore. However, this film has also given rise to a political controversy. Actually, in this film, a character similar to former SP MP and Bahubali leader Atiq Ahmed has been shown. The name of this character has been shown as Atif Ahmed in the film. According to the film, Atif Ahmed had links with Pakistan’s ISI and Lashkar-e-Taiba. He was involved in supplying fake notes to India through Pakistani links. The film also shows his involvement in a conspiracy to form a ‘Pakistan-backed government’ in UP with the support of Pakistan.
ST Haman said it was an attempt to spread hatred
Now politics has heated up on the issue of showing Atif Ahmed in Dhurandhar-2 on the pretext of Atif Ahmed. Samajwadi Party leader ST Hasan said on this matter that this has been done deliberately to increase the earnings of the film. Such people can defame anyone. ST Hassan said that an attempt has been made to spread hatred in the society through this film, but when questions are raised, it will be termed as imaginary.
Congress and AIMIM also raised questions
Meanwhile, AIMIM leader Waris Pathan said that ‘Dhurandhar 2’ has been made to defame Muslims. Such films are made only under a conspiracy, so that hatred can be spread in the country. Waris Pathan further said that many propaganda films have been made before this also. By making such films only money is being made, the film makers do not care about what impact it will have on the society. They show lies, hatred and propaganda through films just to earn money. Dissatisfaction is also being seen among Congress leaders regarding the film Dhurandhar. Rashid Alvi has said that whatever criticism is given to this film is less. Rashid Alvi asked whether shooting people on the streets is being encouraged through this film.
