Psychological-thriller ‘Vikalpa’ trailer is out! – Btv Kannada

The trailer of ‘Vikalpa’, which has already caught the attention and attention of some cinephiles in Chandanavan through its title, teaser and songs, has been released. This is a psychological-thriller film based on the theme of ‘Post Traumatic Stress Disorder’ (PTSD), and Mrs. Indira Sivaswamy is producing ‘Vikalpa’ for the first time under ‘Suru’s Talkies’. Young talent Prithviraj Patil has written and directed the story, screenplay of the film ‘Vikalpa’ and also appeared in the lead role on screen. Other than Nagashree Hebbar, Harini Srikanth, Sandhya Vinayak, Ganapathy Waddinagadde, Swaroop Bachch, Pooja Bachch, Jayant David, Dr. Prakriti, Master Ayush Santhosh, Girish Hegde etc. are seen in other important roles of the film. At a recently held event, Kannada film director Jayathirtha released the trailer of ‘Vikalpa’ and wished the film crew.

Director Jayathirtha said, ‘It’s really exciting to see new talent coming to the Kannada film industry. Through newcomers, new ideas and thoughts are unveiled on the screen as a movie. Newcomers always hold the vitality of the film industry. None of the artists and technicians of ‘Vikalpa’ are known to me from the beginning. They met a few days ago by talking on phone. However, I have agreed to release the trailer of ‘Vikalpa’ as I like his sincere effort to make a good content based film. The storyline, making, teaser, songs of the movie all seem to give some hope about the movie. He wished the release of the film a success.

After the release of the trailer of ‘Vikalpa’, director Prithviraj Patil said about the film, ‘This is a psychological-thriller style movie. The movie ‘Vikalpa’ is based on the theme of ‘Post Traumatic Stress Disorder’ (PTSD). The film portrays the difference between illusion and reality in a person’s mind. Based on scientific aspects, we have weaved the characters and depicted the scenarios of this film on the advice of experts. Through this film, we are bringing the latent emotions and turmoil of the human mind to the audience.’

Nagashree Hebbar, the heroine of ‘Vikalpa’ said, ‘This is my first film coming from a theater background. In this I played a character named Samudyatha. A character who carries a lot of anxiety in his mind, but is serious without showing it too much anywhere. There is a lot of expectation about the story of ‘Vikalpa’ and my character. He expressed confidence that ‘Vikalpa’ is already getting good response from all quarters and the audience will like the film.

Actress Harini Srikanth, who is active in both Kannada television and television, is seen in the role of a psychologist in the film ‘Vikalpa’. Talking about her role, Harini Srikanth said, ‘The movie ‘Vikalpa’ gave me a new experience as an actress. Although the director and the entire crew are mostly newbies, they are bringing ‘Vikalpa’ to the screen very professionally. Every scene of the film has been carefully crafted by the director. Surely such movies will be liked by Kannada audience. He asked for everyone’s support and cooperation for the efforts of such newcomers.

Most of the shooting of the film has been done around Bangalore, Tirthahalli, Sagar, Shirsi, Kundapur, Yallapur, and ‘Vikalpa’ has also been shot in foreign countries including Singapore and Netherlands. Mithun Theerthahalli has also directed the film ‘Vikalpa’. Cinematography by Abhiram Gowda, editing by Suresh Armugam. Samvatsara has composed the music for the songs of ‘Vikalpa’ and Prithviraj Patil and Kaundinya Kudlutota have composed the lyrics for the songs. Singers like Siddharth Belmannu, Samvatsara, Sriranjini, Inchara are the voices for the songs of the movie ‘Vikalpa’. A few days ago, the teaser and songs of the movie ‘Vikalpa’ were released and they are getting good response from the cinephiles. Now the trailer of the movie ‘Vikalpa’ has been released and the trailer is getting good response from the viewers on social media. The film team is excited and has planned to release the film ‘Vikalpa’ on January 30.
