The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted rain and snowfall in the hilly states including Haryana, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu between February 17-19.

There is a rain alert in 15 districts of Madhya Pradesh today and similar weather may persist for the next 2 days, while in 13 districts of Rajasthan, there may be rain and hail along with strong winds. Here the maximum impact of western disturbance can be seen on 18th February. Today, there will be light showers and fog in some areas in the western districts of Uttar Pradesh, while fog is visible at some places in Bihar.

There will be fluctuations in the temperature of Delhi. Today there may be an increase of up to 2-3 degrees, which will cause a feeling of heat in the afternoon. Light rain may be seen in Delhi NCR during the next 24 hours. During this period, wind can also blow at a speed of 40 km/hour. The effect of western disturbance will be more visible on 18th February. There is a possibility of drop in temperature on 19th and 20th February due to rain.
