Leaders of opposing parties accused the Election Commission of being an agent of the BJP. From Mamta Banerjee, Rahul Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge, Tejashwi Yadav to Asaduddin Owaisi, everyone accused the Election Commission of acting at the behest of the BJP.
Mamta Banerjee took a march in Kolkata with her supporters and said that the people of West Bengal in BJP ruled states are being detained in detention camps by calling Bangladeshi. Mamta alleged that the Election Commission is selectively engaged in cutting the vote of BJP opponents, this is a big conspiracy. Mamta said that what is happening in Bihar today will try to do it in Bengal tomorrow, but BJP will not embrace the pulses in Bengal.
Rahul Gandhi said that millions of votes are being cut in Bihar, votes are being stolen, which is happening in Bihar, it will be in Assam tomorrow, it is a conspiracy to win the election through the thief door.
Owaisi said that the entire planning of the voter list in Bihar has been planned to cut the votes of Muslims in Seemanchal, the BJP is getting NRC from the Election Commission in the name of revision of the voter list.
Mamta Banerjee may be cursing BJP and Election Commission, but her focus is clear. She has started preparing for next year’s assembly elections. It has started from Kolkata rally. The thing to note in Mamta Banerjee’s speech was that she did not talk about Hindu-Muslim-Sikh-Christian but her focus was on Bangla-speaking people, Bangla Pride. This needs to be understood.
In fact, in the last five years, the way the BJP has run the Campaign of Hindutva in Bengal, the way Mamata’s Muslim appeasement was made an issue, it has made Mamta feel that she will get a lump sum vote of Muslims but if some percent of the Hindu vote slipped, the equations can be disturbed. The only way to avoid this is to talk about the self -respect of Bengal and Bangla language is its biggest way because the people of Bengal are very sensitive about their culture and their language.
That is why now Mamta has left the talk of Hindu Muslims and started talking about Bangla speakers, but Mamta was fine if he attacked the BJP. The way he targeted the Election Commission does not suit any Chief Minister, especially when Mamata Banerjee is the Chief Minister for fourteen years. She has won three elections, all three elections were also held by the Election Commission.
In fact, the basis of the accusations of the leaders of the excellent parties is some videos, which RJD and Congress leaders circulated a lot.
A video is from a school in Darbhanga. Blo was sitting and uploading voters’ forms. The building was also in this building, the female district president of BJP, Kavita Singh. A local Congress leader arrived there. He accused that instead of going from house to house, he is calling the voters in the office, sitting there, the people of BJP are deciding whose name is to be in the voter list, whose to be cut. The Congress leader created a ruckus. When the DM of Darmba got an investigation, it was found that BJP leader Kavita Singh had gone there to submit documents of her and family.
Second, in Begusarai, Blo Wajahat Ali Farooqi alleged that a big female officer pressured her to submit the form without making verification from house to house. Farooqi narrated the audio of the women officer recording to the media, in which the female officer is telling her to submit the form without verification. The woman told Wajahat Farooqi that she had to distribute and submit 1382 forms, so far, there have been 2. Therefore, they quickly fill all the form and submit it online
Third, in Gaya district, a blo form is seen taking a bribe of 40 rupees from people in exchange for submitting a blo form. This blo was removed after the video surfaced.
Based on the BLOS, Tejashwi Yadav is accusing the Election Commission, this is his reality. Some were caught taking a bribe, some turned out to be dishonest, some turned out to be a doodle.
Now let me tell you how much work the Election Commission did. In the last 16 days, the verification of about 94 percent of the voters of Bihar has been completed. As of Wednesday evening, 6 crore 99 lakh 92 thousand 926 documents have been submitted in a total of 7 crore 90 lakh voters of Bihar.
35 lakh 69 thousand 435 voters in the whole of Bihar were not found at the address where their Vote is made.
17 lakh 37 thousand 336 people have been permanently shifted. 5 lakh 76 thousand 479 were found in which Voter ID has been made in more than one place and 12 lakh 55 thousand 620 has died. The Election Commission has said that the entire list of voters whose names can be cut in Revision will be given to political parties. If political parties want, they can verify them in the next seven days. If there is any deficiency, you can tell the Election Commission.
The commission will remove that disturbance before publishing the final list. It is a good thing that the Election Commission continued to work instead of getting entangled with political parties. Now the parties opposing this revision will have eight days. If there is any disturbance in the Voter List, they should tell the Commission.
History book: Shivaji Ho Ho, not Aurangzeb
NCERT has made some changes in the textbook of eighth grade history. Controversy has started about this. In the new book, Mughal Emperor Babur is written as cruel winner. The new book gives examples of Akbar’s cruelty and hatred from Hindus. How many temples and gurdwaras Aurangzeb broke, it has been told. In this new book, examples of religious intolerance are given under the rule of Mughal emperors.
Social science book Exploring Society .. Indian and Beyond mentions the religious atmosphere of the time, attacks on temples and centers of education, loot of villages and cruelty of Mughals. According to NCERT, these changes have been made under the new education policy. The facts which were being hidden till now, glorified the Mughal rulers instead of the Indian kings. Such mistakes have been rectified.
But Muslim Ulema, Maulanas and All India Muslim Personal Law Board have opposed the change in the history book. Board spokesperson Qasim Rasul Ilyas said that efforts are being made to defame Muslims by distorting history. Qasim Rasul Ilyas said that Aurangzeb was not a cruel ruler, India was a golden bird under his rule, but the BJP is changing history to shine its politics, it is not right.
The whole country knows that the Mughals ruled India on the loud sword. Aurangzeb broke temples and gurudwaras. Amar Balidani brutally killed the Sahibzadas of Guru Tegh Bahadur and the tenth Guru of the Sikhs, Govind Singh as he refused to change religion.
But such things are not taught to school children in history. The books that are taught in schools were shown by reducing the cruelty and barbarity of the Mughal rulers and the great fighter like Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was said to be looting. Akbar was described as great and Maharana Pratap was weak. History was distracted for many years.
Should not Guru Govind Singh Ji Maharaj fight the Mughals, Paramveer Maharana Pratap and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj should not be considered as their ideal? Should their valor not be taught in schools?
I think the change that has been made in the history book today should have been done long ago. History should be such that our students teach the saga of bravery of those who fight against invaders, teach India to pride on their brave sons. (Rajat Sharma)
